Bioskope ("the App", "we", "us", "our") is an Android application that lets you browse ratings, trailers and storylines for the latest movies and TV shows and build personal watchlists. This privacy policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. This is a draft policy and may be updated before publication.

1. Information We Collect

Bioskope is designed to work with as little personal data as possible. Depending on how you use the App, it may handle:

Watchlist and preference data (such as titles you save) stored locally on your device.
Basic device and app information such as app version and operating system, used for compatibility and stability.
Any feedback or support messages you choose to send us.

Bioskope does not require you to create an account, and it does not collect your name, contacts, location, or advertising identifiers.

2. Content and Third-Party Data

Movie and TV information — including titles, ratings, trailers, artwork and storylines — is retrieved from third-party content providers. When the App fetches this content, standard network requests are made to those providers, whose handling of such requests is governed by their own privacy practices and outside our control.

3. How We Use Your Information

To display movie and TV content, trailers and storylines.
To save and show your watchlists on your device.
To maintain, troubleshoot and improve the App's performance and reliability.
To respond to support requests you send us.

We do not use your information for advertising or profiling, and we never sell it.

4. Data Storage and Sharing

Your watchlists and preferences are stored locally on your device. Bioskope does not sell your personal data. We may share information only where necessary to operate the App, comply with legal requirements, or protect the rights and safety of users.

5. Data Retention

Locally stored data remains on your device until you remove it or uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App removes its locally stored data from your device.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App. However, no digital service is completely risk-free, and you should also take care to protect your device and its credentials.

7. Children

Bioskope is a general-audience entertainment app and is not directed to children under the age required by your local law. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
